My coworker JP loaned me the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah cd. I rather liked it. The singer was very evocative of (Talking Head) David Byrne at times. My partner J didn't care for it much. As he says, all that stuff - modern pop - kind of sounds alike. The Killers, Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse ... you have to be dedicated to really get it sorted out.

Other than that, we haven't acquired much lately. I'd like to pick up the Brokeback Mountain and Life Aquatic soundtracks sometime, and I believe there's a new Drive By Truckers coming out sometime later this spring.
